Halla

Halla is a playful table light which uses the form and space philosophy of Rowena Reed Kostellow. It feature a playful tilt switch at its base as well as two movable joints.

The first steps of the process was to create an abstract composition using line, plane, and volume elements. Through the composition, the abstract sculpture began to show motifs of projection and reflection which led to function of being a light.
