Standard Shipping
(2024
for Dutch Design Week 2024)
Standard Shipping was a design challenge where designers were asked to create products that will fit in standard shipping boxes which fit through a letter box slot. The idea of the challenge was to make participating in design festivals more accessible by avoiding expensive shipping costs as well as using smaller event foot print.
I created the concept and invited 8 other designers to participate in the design challenge from the USA, Sweden, and The Netherlands.
The concept, proposals, copywriting, photos, display design, promotional material, and social media preferences were done by myself in order to allow the designers to focus on their designs.
Personal Contribution: AL.U.B.
AL.U.B is a expanding letter tray holder that fits within your typical letterbox package envelope.
AL.U.B stands for Aluminum Uitbreidbare Brievenlade. The design features a double scissor lift body with four aluminum shelves which can be easily bent by hand. The design is meant to accommodate letters and artifacts of various volumes and quantities depending on the users situation.
